They can be little devils, can't they? One of my does spills her food and water every time I fill it. I use bowls instead of bottles, too, and had to wire them to the cage so she could toss them around her cage. I give them straw so they're not standing on the wire and that same doe will push all her straw out the bottom of the cage every night. Doesn't matter how much I give her. She better be a good momma, 'cause she's fat and has a gorgeous coat!

I was running around before work this morning hurrying to get the chores done and get on the road on time- I get to the second rabbit cage and I find little wriggling bodies all around...

I wasn't quite expecting them yet, but we'll see how it goes. I counted 6 and they seem to be doing okay so far.

I guess it really is "labor" day! haha.

She wasn't due for 11 days, and I bred her 2 days after getting her, so I'm guessing she was preggers when I got her?

Congratulations on the new kits! Yes Manny, with that much time between expected due date and actual delivery, it would be likely to think that she was already pregnant.

Okay, I haven't been on all week as I've been laid up with a bug and ended up with a tonsil stone. But Manny, you did it man! Or should I say they did it. Congratulations my friend. Now I'm off to show these pictures to my does and have a fatherly chat with them about the possibility of freezer camp if I don't have some photos like this soon. :?
