Posted: Fri Jul 20, 2012 1:35 amSummer is 1/2 over Lolly, my garden is about 1/2 dead already. You need a Barn Raising Party if you plan on having any shelter by this winter. Go for it, take 3 or 4 days to gather logs, then get as many guys with strong backs and weak minds as you can find and work them to death for a day. You will be amazed at how much you can get done in a day, or maybe a weekend. 
Sorry the new job is keeping you tied down more than you had hoped. Maybe it will get easier as you go along? I hope you get to the farm soon to enjoy your land.
