Wooden skyscrapers

Hey all,

I don't know that this video really belongs on this site but I thought it was pretty interesting:


I'd like to see some data as far as how much carbon can realistically be tied up in these wooden panels and what kind of glue would be used to bind the wood together.

Thanks for posting the TEDtalk, Manny. I have been resistant to the idea of using engineered beams, but may be changing my mind.

I'd like to see the truck that delivers those 8'X64' sheets of plywood!

I liked it. It makes a lot of sense. Now lets get the Government out of the way and start to build them.
