Our hopes for an early spring may have been premature. The high around here tomorrow may not be in positive numbers, they are talking a high of -1* to 0* and a low of -7*. Wind chill of -30* now thats a bit Brisk even for up North of the Mason Dixson. This is as cold as its been here in 20 years. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is about all I have to say about that. :o

PS I hope all of the trees I planted last year and the Butterfly Bushes make it through this cold snap alright.

I am worried about George, it said the artic winds are as far south as Mississippi and has been for several days. When they are below freezing for several days it can cause them major problems. Not just the roads being impassable because they don't have the salt or plow trucks because it never gets this cold down there for long. Water lines freeze, plants die, people get into very difficult straights when it is below freezing in Mississippi for many days in a row, Keep warm George. :)

I think we have to resign ourselves to the fact that climate change is not coming. It's here!
Can we get a shout out to George to make sure he's okay?

I just got home from several days spent with sis and brother-in-law, and don't get on the computer much while I'm there. Thanks for asking about me DB.

In recent years I had remembered hoarfrost and wondered why I didn't see it any more. I guess it takes temperatures below zero, since I was able to see it firsthand the past few days.
