Hey Matt, was that mudslide in Washington close to you? I have only briefly heard about it on the radio and not sure where it was or what caused it.

That is about 90 miles from me or so, East across Puget Sound. We have had an incredibly wet March, something like 9 inches of rain in the first 10 days or something like that. I think that was the root cause, there is a history of slides in that area. Lots of clear cutting and gravel mining in that area as well.

At any rate, it's a terrible event. I can't imagine how horrifying that would be.
