If it's white then chances are it's mycellium. Mold that comes out of coffee grounds is usually a gray color. Just keep an eye on the moisture level and you should have some shrooms soon enough. Keep us posted as I think I may have to try this myself.

They are sneaky little buggers. One minute they're not there, then the next you have a gorgeous clump of them. Don't lose faith, you'll be surprised.

Patience Devil, patience. Keep things moist and warm and give it a chance. What do you have to loose by not giving it a pitch and waiting? You can always buy a kit later. ;) Let nature take its course.
