I'm sorta wondering the same thing Lolly! No, truly, they were wonderful additions to my home. You know, I'd had most of them for 12 years or so, and they were huge floor to ceiling plants for the most part. They took up a ton of space, and, frankly, I'm ready for a change in here. I had pretty much boxed myself in with Stuff, to where I kinda had no more options for where things could go, and I certainly couldn't bring anything new home. My friend showed up with the trailer, starting over in a new place with a new live in relationship, and it just seemed right. I'm feeling good about it, finished the oak flooring in my room and am now filling up bags of stuff for the Goodwill. Went through all my books and am getting rid of almost all of them, half my clothes, shoes, you name it it's going away. I'm really excited about it actually, if feels great.

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all made it through last year happy and thriving and enjoying Life. I had no New Years resolutions for this year, none at all. I have been fairly well contented here on the hill. Things are going along day to day, and times are good here. Money has not been a problem, the garden did well last year, most of the trees I planted last year are growing, I didn't die, life is good here. Hope everyone has a good year ahead of them, enjoy the time. If you have plans you hope to accomplish this year now is the time to share them with us. Lets hear from everyone this year. God Bless us everyone. 8-)

Thanks Guy, Happy New Year to you and yours, and all here. I've been having a bit of quiet time on the forum lately, sorta hunkering down and not thinking much about projects yet. Trying to dig through my window trim project and getting firewood in, but I imagine the longer days will have my mind back to swales and growing before too long here. If I have any plans for this year, it's to continue to try to be a better person tomorrow than I am today. I've had a fantastic 2014, with lots of positive experiences and personal growth, and hope to continue in 2015. That's about it for my resolutions or plans, just to keep on moving forward with positivity. Happy New Year everyone!

I haven't been around much lately, but I wanted to pop in and wish everyone here a Happy New Year!

I was able to see my grandkids for a few hours on Christmas Eve, so the year ended on a good note. The new year is starting out with a court date (Jan. 29) for custody and a priority list for starting the house at Lollyland.

Happy New Year, all! I have been happily pondering what to plant this year. Definitely more apples and cherries - lost a couple of trees this year. Hopefully we can afford the blueberry hedge this year, and the grapes.

I am also wanting to build some raised beds, and expand the garden. So many dreams - if only I had the money to implement all in one year! :)

But I will keep working on my plans and then figure out a budget. It is a process, a long process. And the journey is the thing, right? :)
