This past autumn, we bought a large quantity of sweet potatoes directly from a farmer that grows them commercially. Since then, sweet potatoes have become a staple in our home. I started baking as many as possible at one time and eating them as often and in as many different ways as possible.
One really tasty way is to mash one up and add it to a bowl of oatmeal along with butter and brown sugar.
It tastes an aweful lot like sweet potato pie.
